| Indications | Bupavaquone is a drug for the treatment of bovine Taylor's pyrozoosis, a blood protozoosis that is seriously harmful to cattle. The pathogen of this disease is transmitted by ticks to cattle and parasitized in macrophage lymphocyte erythrocytes, causing clinical symptoms characterized by hyperthermia anemia and emaciation and swelling of superficial lymph nodes The epidemic of the disease has obvious seasonality, the onset season is from May to August. Cattle aged 6 months to 2 years are susceptible to bupavaquone, which starts in May, peaks in June to July, and gradually subsides in August. The mortality rate is 6% to 60%.
