Product Description

GMP Factory Veterinary Injectable Drugs Buparvaquone Injection 5%

Description:

Buparvaquone is an antiprotozoal medication used in veterinary medicine. It is primarily used to treat a specific type of protozoal infection called Theileria in cattle and buffaloes. Theileria is a parasite that causes a disease known as tropical theileriosis, which affects the red blood cells of the animals.

Administration: Buparvaquone is typically administered as an injectable solution. The dosage and treatment regimen for buparvaquone will depend on factors such as the severity of the infection, the weight of the animal, and the guidance of a veterinarian.

Mechanism of action: Buparvaquone works by inhibiting the growth and reproduction of Theileria parasites in the host animal. It disrupts the parasite’s ability to form a protective coating around itself, leading to its death.

Adverse effects: Like all medications, buparvaquone may have potential side effects. These could include local injection site reactions, transient decrease in appetite, and rarely, allergic reactions. It is important to consult a veterinarian if any unexpected or severe reactions occur.

Veterinary supervision: Buparvaquone is a prescription medication and should only be used under the guidance and supervision of a veterinarian. They will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment for the specific condition being treated.
