This Sulfadimethoxine and Trimethoprim Solution is a sterile, potentiated sulfonamide antibacterial containing 444 mg of sulfadimethoxine and 89 mg of trimethoprim per mL, in a convenient 500 mL multi-dose vial. The 5:1 optimized ratio of sulfadimethoxine to trimethoprim provides synergistic bactericidal activity against a broad spectrum of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. This combination is indicated for the treatment of respiratory, digestive, urogenital, and soft tissue infections in cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, horses, dogs, and cats.
