Composition

· Active Substance: Praziquantel
Concentration: 56.8 mg/ml

· Excipients: Polyethylene glycol 400, benzyl alcohol, hydrochloric acid (pH adjuster).

· Presentation: Sterile clear solution in 100 ml amber glass vial.

 Indications

Treatment of cestode (tapeworm) and trematode (fluke) infections in:

· Cattle: Moniezia spp., Thysanosoma actinioides

· Sheep/Goats: Moniezia spp., Dicrocoelium dendriticum

· Swine: Taenia solium (metacestodes), Echinococcus granulosus

Contraindications & Critical Warnings

· ▲ DO NOT USE in animals hypersensitive to praziquantel.

· ▲ Avoid in:
• Debilitated or severely dehydrated animals
• Calves/lambs (6.6 ml/100 kg) | Single dose | 1 day |
| Sheep/Goats| 5 mg/kg BW(8.8 ml/100 kg) | Single dose | 1 day |
| Swine | 7.5 mg/kg BW(13.2 ml/100 kg) | Single dose | 1 day |

· Max. Volume/Site: 15 ml per SC site in adult cattle; 5 ml in sheep/goats.

· Preparation: Shake vial gently before withdrawal.

Withdrawal Periods

Adverse Reactions

· Common: Transient local swelling/pain at injection site.

· Rare but Severe:
▲ Hypersensitivity (urticaria, dyspnea - administer epinephrine if needed)
▲ Neurological signs (ataxia, tremors - resolve within 24h)
▲ Hepatotoxicity (elevated liver enzymes - monitor in chronic cases)

Storage & Stability

· Unopened: Store at 2-25°C. Protect from light.

· Opened vial: Use within 30 days. Discard if discolored or precipitated.

· Keep away from children and food.
