Product Information
COMPOSITION	Each ml contains: Doxycycline Hydrochloride........100 mg. Solvents ad.................................1 ml
DESCRIPTION	Pharmacological Actions: Doxycycline belongs to a group of tetracycline antibiotics. It can reversibly bind to the receptor on the 30S subunit of bacterial ribosome, interfering with the formation of ribosomal complex of tRNA and mRNA, and ultimately inhibiting protein synthesis by preventing the extension of the peptide chain, which leads to suppression of growth of bacteria. It is effective against both gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative bacteria, and has cross resistance to oxytetracycline and chlortetracycline.
INDICATIONS:	It is used for the treatment of infectious diseases of pig caused by gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria and Mycoplasma, such as mycoplasma pneumonia, colibacillosis, salmonellosis and pasteurellosis, etc.
DOSAGEAND ADMINISTRATION:	Intramuscular injection: 5-10mg/kg of body weight (0.05-0.1ml/kg of body weight) per day and 2-3 consecutive days for pig.
SIDE EFFECT:	(1) Intramuscular injection can cause pain, inflammation and necrosis at the injection site. (2) Doxycycline has certain liver and nephrotoxicity. Overdose can cause severe liver damage, and fatal nephrotoxicity is occasionally seen.
PRECAUTIONS:	(1) Use with caution in animals with severe liver and kidney damage. (2) Because this kind of drugs easily penetrates the placenta and enters milk, it is forbidden for pregnant and lactating animals.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:	28 days for pig.
