Composition
· Active Substance: Sulfadimethoxine
·Concentration: 400 mg/ml (equivalent to 40% solution)
· Excipients: Diethanolamine, sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate, water for injection.
· Presentation: Sterile clear to pale yellow solution in 100 ml amber glass vial.
Indications
Treatment of:
· Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD) caused by Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida
· Calf Diphtheria (Fusobacterium necrophorum)
· Swine Respiratory Disease (Bordetella bronchiseptica, Pasteurella)
· Foot Rot & Metritis in cattle
Contraindications & Warnings
· ▲ DO NOT USE in animals hypersensitive to sulfonamides.
· ▲ Avoid in:
• Renal/hepatic impaired animals
• Dehydrated animals or those with urinary obstruction
• Late-gestation ruminants (risk of kernicterus)
· ️ Administration Route: Subcutaneous (SC) only. Never administer IV or IM.
· �� Not for use in lactating dairy cows >20 months old (prolonged milk withdrawal).

Adverse Reactions
· Common: Transient injection site swelling.
· Serious:
▲ Crystalluria, hematuria, or renal damage (ensure adequate water intake)
▲ Hypersensitivity reactions (rash, fever, anaphylaxis)
▲ Hepatotoxicity (jaundice, anorexia)
Storage & Handling
· Store at 15-30°C. Protect from light.
· Opened vial: Use within 28 days. Discard if cloudy or precipitated.
· Keep away from children and foodstuffs.
