| Pharmacodynamics |
Ivermectin is an injectable parasiticide for cattle and swine. One low-volume dose effectively treats and controls the following internal and external parasites that may impair the health of cattle and swine: gastrointestinal roundworms (including inhibited Ostertagia ostertagi in cattle), lungworms, grubs, sucking lice, and mange mites of cattle; and gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, lice, and mange mites in swine.Although the drug cannot kill ticks immediately, it can affect feeding, molting and egg laying, thereby reducing reproductive capacity. The effect on blood flies is similar. The extermination rate of swine roundworms, red strongyloides, strongyloides lansii, Trichosanthes, esophagus nematodes, posterior strongpoint nematodes, coronaria dentata adults and end-mature worms reaches 94%-100%. Trichinella in the tract (Trichinella in muscle is not effective) is also very effective, and it also has a good control effect on blood lice and scabies mites.

The pharmacokinetics of ivermectin are significantly different due to different animal species, dosage forms and routes of administration. The bioavailability of subcutaneous injection is higher than that of oral administration, but oral administration is faster than subcutaneous injection.
